Taxes are the lifeblood of a land,
Building a nation with a steady hand.
From bustling roads to schools that gleam,
They turn a country's hopes into a dream.
They fund the bridges, the hospitals too,
The fields of research where ideas brew.
Defense that guards us night and day,
And welfare to help along the way.
A price we pay for civilized life,
For progress, peace, and lessened strife.
The cost of comfort, calm, and care,
That lets us breathe community air.
Each penny paid has a noble role,
Fulfilling the needs of the common goal.
For justice, health, and futures bright,
Taxes pave the path of light.
A fee for the promise the state upholds,
Of safety, dignity, dreams made bold.
Not just for now, but years ahead,
Where rights are honored and children fed.
A citizen's duty, simple yet grand,
To give their share with an open hand.
Through honesty and timely pay,
We build tomorrow, day by day.
But evasion, a shadow, dark and grim,
Weakens the nation, makes futures dim.
When taxes are dodged, the bridges fall,
And progress halts for one and all.
For tax is the price, not paid in vain,
For state’s advance and shared domain.
The fee of living in structured grace,
Where social safety finds its place.
Together we thrive, together we grow,
Through taxes, a nation's strength will show.
A fair system, just and true,
Builds a world for me and you.
We give, not from fear or law's demand,
But from duty, as Christ’s word stands:
"To Caesar, what is his; to God, what’s His,"
A righteous act, both just and bright.
