O P Babaji : The Mystic of the Glaciers

High in the mountains, a legend resides,

O.P. Baba, a mystery that abides.

A soldier's soul, pure and brave,

Protecting the nation, night and day.

Though his form is gone, his spirit remains,

A guardian angel, easing the pains.

He guides the soldiers, in their icy plight,

Warns of danger, with all his might.

At his shrine, a sacred place,

Where devotees gather, seeking grace.

O.P. Baba Mandir, a holy sight,

A testament to his enduring might.

With festivals held, a yearly affair,

His memory honored, beyond compare.

A beacon of hope, a guiding star,

A soldier's spirit, forever near.

At his shrine, they offer their prayers,

Seeking his blessings, dispelling their fears.

His room is kept clean, his shoes polished bright,

A mark of respect, a solemn sight.

A legend woven, of faith and hope,

A soldier's spirit, a sacred scope.

O.P. Baba, a name ever known,

A guardian angel, a hero's throne.

Poetic Reflections of a Crazy Soul

A Humble Soul With Mighty Heart

Draped in homespun, pure and bright khadi,

He walked the earth, a beacon of the night.

A simple soul, with wisdom deep and vast,

A leader born, a hero of the past.

With every step, a silent revolution's birth,

Igniting hearts, awakening the earth.

A frail frame, yet iron-willed and strong,

He challenged empires, righting every wrong.

Through non-violence, he painted hope's bright hue,

A master strategist, a visionary true.

With hunger strikes, a weapon sharp and keen,

He shook the world, a silent, mighty scene.

A man of peace, a lover of all kind,

A gentle soul, a noble heart and mind.

His legacy lives on, a shining, guiding star,

Inspiring dreams, both near and far.

Though time may pass, his spirit will endure,

A timeless hero, forever pure and sure.

In every heart, his memory resides,

A beacon of hope, a source of pride.

Where Silence and Ice Guards the Peaks: A Ladakh Saga

Leh Ladakh, a world held high,

Where rugged earth meets endless sky.

An airport nestled, a metal bird at rest,

Amidst towering peaks, put to the test.

Pangong Tso, with waters deep and blue,

Reflects the heavens, holding stories true.

Its tranquil edge, near borders drawn,

Where courage guards each break of dawn.

Chang La, Khardung La, mountains so grand,

Highest roads that crisscross this stark land.

Through icy winds and snowy crests,

They forge strength in human chests.

In Hunder dunes, ancient whispers play,

Of Silk Route journeys from a bygone day.

Where Bactrian camels, two-humped, gently roam,

In sands that feel like a desert's home.

Turtuk stands, a guarded grace,

A border town, in a tense embrace.

Where minefields mark the silent ground,

And echoes of lost histories are found.

Pharnu's silence shrouds the lonely hills,

A lost village where time forever stills.

And Thang, the final outpost, proud and clear,

India's edge, where voices cheer.

Brave Rinchen’s tale the valley knows,

Of fierce battles fought in ice and snows.

A hero's heart, unyielding, strong,

In Ladakh’s soul, his spirit's song.

And through it all, the Indus swiftly flows,

A lifeline deep where sustenance bestows.

In Leh Ladakh, each rock and stream,

Weaves ancient legends, a vibrant dream.

From craggy peaks to arid plain, this rugged land,

In beauty fierce and raw, does stand.

A place where calm and valor blend,

At Earth's high roof, where roads ascend.
